Custom maps and imagery for
presentations, websites, proposals & more
Giving a successful presentation is already hard enough. But if you think that’s bad… ever try to give one without clear imagery to concisely convey what you’re trying to describe?
Just pack it in, pal. At that point, no one’s listening anyway.
The truth is, half of your audience are already not listening because they’re wondering if donuts are going to show up at this meeting (and they definitely won’t listen once they realize those donuts aren’t coming).
The other half may be listening, but will most likely not remember key pieces… simply because humans, as a rule, aren’t particularly great at remembering and internalizing all of the information we hear. It’s good we evolved this way — we certainly don’t want to remember every detail of every experience we’ve ever had, let alone in a conference — but when you’ve got a captive and only somewhat willing audience, there’s no need to make your uphill climb even steeper.
It’s amazing how something as simple as a well-designed graph can go a long way to making your information land. And while creating a graph is a relatively easy thing to do in Excel, creating an effective graphs is something else entirely — even more so when you have to present materials on property you’re trying to buy or sell, potential new locations for your business, customer distribution, delivery routes, sales territories, employee distribution, target demographic locations… We could go on, but even we have limits to our attention span.
How do you clearly display that kind of information? Do you really want to trust a crucial part of your presentation to Intern Steve?
We’re not gonna lie: Google Maps and Google Earth are powerful tools we all have access to. And, yes, you can make your own maps… maps that, frankly, won’t do you any good if nobody can read them. *shakes fist at Steve*
Sad to say, this is how most businesses operate when it comes to their map strategies… and for all the money they’re leaving on the table with sub-par presentations, you’d think their bottom lines would be stronger than they are.
The Map Nerd will not only take your integral data for spot-on analysis, but we’ll create custom maps and imagery out of it for all of your presentations, websites, and proposals.
Going to a conference? Got a major presentation or pitch coming up? Differentiate yourself by having the clear, concise, and accurate maps and imagery your competition can’t recreate.
You’ve got enough to worry about in presenting. Why let your map data be your weakest link? If you want data visualization that matches your expertise and knowledge, you have to bring on The Map Nerd.
Stop letting subpar visual presentation undermine you. That’s Intern Steve’s job.
